Update slash Intro slash We're writing this more for our entertainment than yours.

We began our adventurous apartment lifestyle on January 1st, 2008. A new year, a new room mate, a new life. Or something like that. Little did we know the glitz and glamour was about to come to a hault...and fast. No we didn't get in a fist fight or anything like that, (unless you count chels taking the hair dryer overnight that one time, and leaving Jamie looking like a drowned rat at Travel Oregon that morning) If you've ever lived in an apartment, you know that getting bomb neighbors is crucial. We were not lucky in this. We had a young, pre-mature looking couple move in with a little 2 year old. Sounds not too bad, no biggie. WRONG! If it wasn't the moaning and groaning sex, it was Lil' Wayne singin about lollipops and stuff. Don't get us wrong, we love Lil' Wayne, deeply. You could even call Chels one of his biggest fans. But hearing him only sing of bottles in the club and shorties wantin to thugg over and over make you go a little cuckoo after a while and get a bit hostile. Sometimes the screams and snarls of the poor little 2 year old was too much to handle/really good insight to us both knowing we're not into havin babies any time soon. Sometimes we're still not sure if it was a dream, or if at one point we really did in fact snap, and Jamie actually did walk down the stairs (yes, in her booty shorts and uggz, whoops), knock on the door, and proceed to get into a huge shouting match (cursing involved, double whoops)......but, beyond all that, and the couple moving out a month later, but not before the female threw every single piece of clothing he owned and shoes and posessions included, out onto the lawn. And when we say lawn, we mean two feet of grass before the sidewalks hits for all to walk by. Sheesh...traumatic experience for all. Not really though...things soon died down and we were back to maxin and relaxin in our 2 room 1 bath copperfield apartment. Not a lot of excitement since. A few (very few) trips down to the exercise facility, and many trips down to the pool have made for a pretty lovely experience here. Apartment lifestyle ain't so bad. Not to mention we meet people we are neighbors with around town, ALL the time. Weird. So maybe this was a bit of a novel for our first publish ...whoops. We promise to go easy next time around.
