I'm pretty into multi-tasking I've come to find out. One such instance is this thing I do, rather consistently in my apartment. I'll really want to watch a show that's on TV, or a movie, yet I'll be on my lovely laptop at the same time searching and seeking for music, downloading, discovering etc. It's pretttty hard to do both at the exact same time, what with the different sounds, yet my patience kind of wears thin and I can't help it, I just have to! Thank GOD for commercials. Thanks to the oh so creatively corny American advertising world, this in turn allows me to mute the television, take a break, and get on with my music listening. Sometimes I get a little stressed when I reallllllly want to keep listening to the song I've just found, yet the show is back on! What's a girl to do in a situation like that?! Finish the song out? Pause it and un-mute the TV? Listen to both at the same time? No no no no no, it only makes it worse when you're listening to both at the same time. Makes you go crazy. It's kind of like that Tide pen commercial, when the guy goes in for his interview and he's talking and there's this little mouth on his shirt where a stain is and it's just yelling and talking jibberish the entire time to where you can not understand a single thing. I know you've seen it. This is highly not recommended. Trust me.
Once in a while I even dare to do this multi-tasking during one of Jfay's extremely intense and crucial political segments airing. Except I don't dare mute it ever. I just play the music verrrry gently. I guess until our TV breaks ( God forbid) or the Mac caves (it's gotta last me the next decade or two, that's when I expect I might at least afford to make some payments orrr something on a new one?) I'll be enjoying both.......at the sammmmmmme time (insert Rahzel voice here, you know the guy with 2 voice boxes)
